All action begins with a dream. Great leaders, great projects, great communities, begin with a dream. These may be the dreams we experience in our subconscious mind during sleep, as well as our waking dreams, hopes, and desires. Dreams are a reflection of our inner truth. Transformative leadership always begins with a rich awareness of this truth, and an ability to maximize the motivational power of dreams in ourselves and others.

Listen to the mustn'ts, child. Listen to the don'ts. Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me... Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.
~ Shel Silverstein

There is no right way or wrong way to dream, and anyone can do it. You may have found however, that certain ingredients and conditions will inspire your creative soul and produce the most vibrant, enjoyable, and eventually fruitful dreams. These dreams when cultivated properly will flourish and transform your life.

On the other hand, you may have experienced times when bright, exciting dreams seemed a distant memory, hard to come by. During these times your life, project, or career, may feel more difficult or unrewarding. You may feel stuck, or be struggling during a time of transition. Or perhaps you have simply not given dreams much thought lately. Yet something has brought you here, a part of you that may be wondering what you are missing, or is eager to invite new possibilities into your world.

The Phoenix Center recognizes that the ingredients and conditions needed to inspire and feed vibrant dreams may get lost amidst the fast-paced, multi-tasking, instant-gratification environment that drives today's society. For individuals, groups, and organizations whose creative impulses just need a little nudge, or a lot of help, we will design a customized facilitated workshop to help you ignite ideas and inspire action. We also offer programs for individuals and groups to help build the kind of trust in self and others that is an integral part of innovative thinking and creative expression. Services include but are not limited to: facilitated brainstorming, mission and vision drafting, creative arts workshops, team building, board and staff retreats, and collaborative exploratory dialogue.
