DREAM

connectSo often we seek meaning in our lives, and we witness the devastation that results when individuals have lost a sense of meaning or purpose. Dreams, plans, and knowledge lay idle, wasted, waiting...for what? Human nature requires us to connect meaning to our actions in order for them to bring us fulfillment. Look at the strongest and healthiest examples of individuals, families, organizations, and communities, and you will find deep connections at every level: Individuals who have learned to connect mind, body, and spirit; Families who have learned to connect with each other through quality interactions and shared values; Organizations who have learned to connect their services with the needs of a wide range of internal and external constituents; Communities who have learned to connect the resources of their nonprofit, business, and government sectors to provide the best quality of life for all their citizens.

I do not think the measure of a civilization is how tall its buildings of concrete are, But rather how well its people have learned to relate to their environment and fellow man.
~ Sun Bear of the Chippewa Tribe
